Today is the day the Ballard neighborhood would normally celebrate Norwegian Constituents Day. It was cancelled this year because of coronavirus.. I stopped by the farmer's market earlier. On my way out, I stumbled across this group of people. I heard someone ask what they were doing and laughed when the woman answered "flash mob." This small group of people is definitely not representative of the thousands of people that are usually around.
As I continued on my way home, I saw the car parade.
Late this evening I made carnitas for dinner.
This photo is of Byron hiding when I almost burned myself on the oven and dropped half of my carnitas on the bottom of the hot oven floor.
