Wahoo. I finally made it to NSW (New South Wales), Australia where my friends live!
This is the view from their flat.
They headed out to work, and I started wandering immediately. It looks like a chilly Seattle day, but it was over in the mid 80s. I headed towards the water, and just walked along the water front.
Ugh. Am I there yet? It's really HOT and MUGGY outside.
There is a huge maritime museum. I didn't go in, but enjoyed looking at the boats outside.
Time to eat. I was super hungry and the first place I found open was the Pancake House.
Fortified, I continued to walk.
The next day or the day after, I stopped by the tourist trap aquarium.
Shortly afterwards, I headed to the tourist trap zoo.
I love how surly this bird looks.
This kangaroo (wallaby?) is just chilling out.
And here's the first koala I see!
Someone else is also hot.
