Entrance to China Town. I did a terrible job of getting photos because I was hungry.
Dessert
We went to a place to take photo booth photos that I read about online. The place carried a bunch of the crazy claw machines.
Here are a few photos from the photobooth. It likes to glamour you up and give a person really BIG eyes. I wish my eyes were this big in real life. OMG I'm so cute in these photos. You got to pick some of the little drawings that went into the photo. You sat down with your friend in the other seat. Little did I know that we were designing the same photo, so we kept overwriting each others picks.
In this alley, is the art installation titled "Forgotten Songs". If you stand under the bird cages, you can hear the different bird songs for some of them.
The Mardi Gras parade in Sydney has turned into a celebration for the LGBT community. It is attended by hundreds of thousands of people and one of the largest in the world. We headed over to one of Alex's friends places before the parade and we stumbled across some people that were dressed up for Mardi Gras. I volunteered to take a photo for them, and managed to get one of my own.
A small party before the parade.
I liked this photo, just because of the lighting and it turned out well.
Headed to the bar that we had tickets for.
Apparently we should have left earlier. The streets were already crowded. One of the things people do is to stockpile milk crates before this event. When this parade happens, someone goes out there and sells them to all the short people so they can see.
We had tickets to go inside a club. I was obviously not going to see anything outside, so inside we went. The inside was also really crowded. I lucked out and grabbed a spot by the railing, and this is the view that I had for the rest of the evening.
My friends danced the night away. I turned into a pumpkin around 10 pm and walked back to their place. I took this lovely photo on the way home.
